About the translation

As you probably noticed, I’m not some sort of official translator or anything, I may do some translating when I’m really bored or when I have a lot of free time.

Also, I’m really new in this whole translation thing so the quality won’t be all that good butΒ at the very least, it will be understandable.

Anyways, I hope you can enjoy my work even if it’s far from being perfect.

    1. Well, there is another chapter incoming, I only have 28 lines left to translate so it should take no more than an hour, then I’ll have to fix my mistakes as much as I can, so it should be available in two hours πŸ˜€

  3. um please dont give up on Shinka no Mi i find the nvole to be very facinating and it really cool i like both the world teacher and Shinka no Mi. iknow your new to translating but you do a very good job of it thank you for what you have done

    1. Well, I’m glad that you enjoy it, but Shinka no mi is done by the RE:translation team and they hate it when people help them with their projects for some reason, apparently, they have been working on the chapter 3 of shinka no mi during this month, I got bashed at last time, so I’ll just leave the project to them, if they give up on it, maybe I’ll do a chapter or two but, I don’t know if I can manage to translate two novels at the same time…

      1. Well, I’m sure the author has a very specific note about how you should contact him before translating his work without any authorization, they’re translating them, they aren’t writing them, and I was trying to help, not to steal their project, i even took the time to match the names in my translation to theirs but that just angered them more apparently.

      2. To my above comment I meant to say, “Why is this webpage in French?”. The languages are quite similar without a closer inspection, but after typing that comment I noticed the web page was actually in French; sorry!

  4. Hi I just finished reading all 9 chapters and I just stopped by to say that don’t let others let you down your translation are good and that comes from someone who have read a lot of novel for the past 2 yrs ( I dont know if that something to brag about 😦 ) well anyway, hope i can see more of this novel in the future.

  5. They just hate when someone can do something in a few hours they are taking a month to do, you make them look slower than dial up. Though it may be because they are handling too many series at once that may make them slow enough to be forgotten until they release a chapter.

I mean no disrespect to them, its just you were better and faster then they were, if they don’t want their projects worked on by others, then they need to work on them themselves in a steady pace or let others know they are working on it, since fans can be impatient, and what appears not to be worked on might become fair game for others after a time of inactivity

    1. Well, it’s fine now, they can do what they want and I’ll do just that, if they take too long and if I feel like I can manage doing it, I’ll do Shinka no mi at the same time as world teacher, this time I’ll tell them, I won’t ask them. I wanted to start with one chapters to see if I had a good enough quality to post but NO, I had to guess my skills and people’s opinions of course, because the RE:teeam guesses everything and never uses MTL.. oh no, that’s wrong, they do use MTL ><

  6. I came across this site by accident and was really elated as someone from another web stopped translating at chapter 3 πŸ™‚ thanks for translating this awesome novel πŸ˜„ I can’t wait for more!!! sigh ~ I wish I had known more languages (Japanese especially) so that I will not need to search and wait for translation haha well I don’t have enough time to learn a new language 😦 keep up the great work πŸ˜„ you’re the best as you are saying you are new at this, but at least for me, you are already a pro in my point of view πŸ˜„ sorry to be a little lengthy but I really appreciate your work

  8. I wish to help with proofreading or something. Well my main aim is to get faster chapters but I only know English. So maybe I can contribute to proof-reading and comparing to machine translations etc.

Just tell me if I can help.

    1. Well, right now, the only thing going slow it my translation, the proof-reading etc… is going really fast, if you guys are that eager to read the chapters, I can post them little by little since I can’t afford to spend my time translating because of school.

      1. That’ll be too much of a tease. If the chapters come in instalments, I’ll keep checking every ten minutes if there’s an update or not. Very unproductive.
Keep the updates per chapter only. If it takes some time, then it takes some time.

Oh and do tell if there’s something I can do. As I said, I am proficient in English.

  9. I dont mean to pressure you but can you give a vague status information about the next chapter? Like did you started the translation of the next chapter or if you already started how much is done? Like I said Im not trying to pressure or make you overwork yourself

      1. I have been using google translate and several other translation sites for reading the chapters and mostly they dont detail. Sometimes, in LN, they use the official name of the food and Im like “what the fuck am I reading?”. Thank you for translating this novel.

    1. Well, I actually learned some Japanese since so that’s probably why (Not the writing but the romaji), and I use a shitload of translators as well, I’ll make a list when I have time, for those who want to learn :p

  12. Thanks again for the translations, just wondering when a new chapter is coming out? I see you said that you have some IRL stuff so I am not expecting it soon, just a rough timetable would be nice.

    1. I worked on other stuff for myself but I think I deleted them,, and I don’t do that anymore since I can understand machine translating now, a power as necessary as it is useless

Could I trouble you for a link to the raw source you are using to translate this series. I really enjoy the series and would like to attempt translating/reading a chapter. Thanks.

  16. hello defiring,
first let me say, that i liked reading this novel, and that I think you did a good job translating the first 12 chapters.

But do you have any idea if you are continuing the translations and if yes if you have any idea when we can expect the next chapter??

    1. I’m not the only one translating this, I’ll repeat it again then, Nexus is translating chapter 13 and I’m translating chapter 14, I’m going slow because I am very busy and the thing I’m busy with is frankly way more important for me, so yeah, I’m translating but I’m taking my time, also, I translate the new version of chapter 9 so it’s only been like a week, check it out if you want.

I’ll stop making promises now, yesterday I was almost done then my pc freezed and I restarted it, usually when I do that, it gets the chapter exactly like it is but this time, there was some sort of windows update stuff and my pc restarted again and I had to retranslate all that bullshit T_T

      Like

      1. I’m sorry, but when you have to retranslate how to make tea and french toast (A third time for this one) you’re bound to start thinking it’s bullshit, we understand Sirius-sama, you know how to cook Sirius-sama, well congra-fu****-lation, remember that you can also kill people by pointing them with your finger? Or do you think your cooking is more impressive? Worse thing is that I know what he can actually do since I’ve read the other chapters and this is… just…. no 😦
